Surgery is scheduled

Jasmines surgery to remove the tumor is scheduled for Aug. 3rd at U.C. Davis and is expected to take 12 to 14hrs. After the surgery she is expected to stay in the hospital for a week to 10 days to recover. During this period of time we will take care of her little brother. The latest on the chemo treatments after the surgery is to continue for 6 months.
Needless to say come Aug. 3rd we will be on pins and needles.

Jasmines New Hairdo

Here is a new photo Of Jas. with her new do. It doesn't bothere her in the least she is rolling right along.
We will find out Wednesday when surgery is schedueled.

Jasmines Journey

2 Months ago life in our family took a turn we never exected. my niece Jasmine was diagnosed with Stage 4 Wilm's Tumor. This will be a place where friends and family can share as Jasmine fights her way through this journey.

Jasmine a lively 3 year old has 2 brothers and many cousins. She has been a big part of my family her whole life. Here with us almost every weekend.

She has undergone 8 weeks of chemotherapy which will continue for at least the next year and will have surgery to remove the tumor and affected kidney later this month.

I will keep this updated as time allows will add a new picture this weekend with her new chemo look.
