mom say's special thanks

Thank you to all who have been jasmines and family support. We went to a fund raiser last night, it was a few hard rock bands and we stayed tell almost the end.She had a great time.
She had her first chemo today after her surgery, and so far so good she maybe a bit sleepy. She will have anywhere up to 4 to 6 month of chemo to make sure the lungs stay clear. we really wish to thank all for there love and support.

Todays Update

At this time the picture is 5 minutes old. She needs some tylenol after the 5 1/2 to 6hr. trip.
Look at the smile! Kids, more of a major surgery than I have ever had, and can still smile!

Jasmine Is Released From U.C. Davis

Jasmine is on her way home today after recovering from her surgery. She also talked with Auntie Bonnie on the phone this morning. She wants some teddy bear stickers, so Bonnie is off to get them (hopefully). There is still a ways to go, and only time will tell if all cancer has been removed or destroyed by the chemo but, this was a major step!
In a few hours we will see her and she will be reunited with Conner her little brother. If things work out maybe we can see if she still has that smile, if so we will post a new pic or two.

Surgery is done!

Jasmine had surgery to remove the main tumor this morning. It lasted about 6 hours and she is doing fine. Starting to wake up and ask for mom and dad. What a relief ! Heres to her continued recovery. The Drs figure she will be released from the hospital this coming Sunday.
Chemo will resume after recovery time. One spot in her lungs is gone and the other has shrunk down, now to see it go away!
